RE: Conditional formatting of text

Column D is the helper column as it contains a copy of the original prompting text.
You can also see the conditional formatting dialog for cell B2

So, when the user comes along and changes the content of B2 it will not have the conditional formatting applies and will instead revert back to the automatic font colour.

Column D can be hidden.
